Shaheen Ahmed gained a Diploma in Art and design in her home town Burnley, where she started out as a paste up artist working for a high street printing company. She continued to pursue a formal art education and gained a Foundation in Textile Technologies at Bolton University and a Degree in Silk Screen and Lino Printing at Bourneville School of Art (BCU).
